This worked in converting my file and I am now up and running with desktop and am very grateful this little app exists. I was just about to give up converting my QBO file to desktop, when I found this app in the comments of a troubleshooting thread. As a Top 10 ProAdvisor, this app is GREAT. I highly recommend this app when you need to save your data or move back to desktop. Who uses IE or even has a Windows 7 machine anymore? This app did the job seamlessly, effortlessly and accurately.
What to do with the data? I've been paying for QBO subscriptions waiting for Intuit data services to help. That way doesn't work anyway!! With Covid, we've had a too many clients close their doors. No more having to use Intuit's archaic way of moving back to desktop. I have fought many times over my years with the Firm to get QB Online files exported back to desktop - usually because a business closes. After waiting a week for Intuit, I gave this product a try, and had my file in desktop in less than an hour with no issues at all. Despite what they say, Intuit doesn't really support converting QBO to desktop anymore, and they take days to do it for you when 'known issues' arise.
